about
"'Inside' means a lot to both of us and was made during a stretch when we’ve been searching for perspective. If the universe is ever-expanding, we need only travel a blink above Earth before humans become indistinguishable, and a squint past that before we blend into a broader view of the Milky Way. We believe that humans are just as much “Earth” as the soil, trees, air, animals, rocks and water that surround us, and that although these may feel like divisive times, our collective energy is still casting light into space."
lyrics
I believe your blood is my blood
I believe your mother's my mother
I can feel the fingertips in the air
Wet summer night, stars everywhere
Lapis on my neck, baby
Wanna feel it vibrate, way deep
So low in my feelings now
But ain't no ceilings now
Only fallin' up
No more fallin' down
I ain't trynna live in cuffs
What you follow, fear or love?
I believe your blood is my blood
I believe your mother's my mother
I can feel the fingertips in the air
Wet summer night, stars everywhere
Lapis on my neck, baby
Wanna feel it vibrate, way deep
(Inside me)
I don't wanna spend
The rest of my time waiting
This the energy I been craving
Fatima set my spirit free
Fatima set my spirit free
I believe your blood is my blood
I believe your mother's my mother
I can feel the fingertips in the air
Wet summer night, stars everywhere
Lapis on my neck, baby
Wanna feel it vibrate, way deep
(Inside me)
